Brief description of what your service/organisation offers:
Suitably trained and experienced staff employed by Enable Ability support children/young peopls aged 5 - 18 with moderate levels of disability to access childcare registered mainstream playscheme settings during all school holiday periods.
 
Where the service is provided - please state if city wide or locally based:
This service is based at childcare registered mainstream playscheme settings located within the city of Portsmouth and is for children/young people who live with the Portsmouth city boundaries.
 
What the organisation provides - types of intervention and support:
Parents of children with moderate levels of disability can choose from a number of hoiday playscheme providers to enable their child/young person to access a setting that will meet their specific needs.  Each setting is unique and offers wide-ranging options; these include play work, art/craft, sports and outings whilst enabling the children/young people with additional needs to integrate with mainstream children/young people.
 
Eligibility Criteria:
The Enable Ability Inclusive Playscheme is for children/young people that require extra support because of diagnosed moderate levels of disability, learning difficulty, Autism/Asperger Syndrome and or disability related challenging behaviour.
 
Quality Standards and expected outcomes for children and young people and their families accessing your service:
All settings are Ofsted registered and Inclusive Playschemes are ideally suited to children/young people with moderate levels of disability who can, with additional support, access activities that are available to children if all abilities and who will benefit from integrating with mainstream children.
