Brief description of what services your organisation offers:
Provide advice and support to setting Inclusion Co-ordinators and SENCOs who are working with children with SEND. This includes delivering training and professional development.
Liaise with other professionals to ensure children with SEND are known and are receiving appropriate provision, including monthly attendance at the Early Years Panel.
Where the service is based:
City wide services for all children attending any registered childcare provision.
What the organisation provides - types of interventions and support:
Provide bespoke support for settings for individual children with specific needs. This can include making observations, advising on strategies, supporting practioners to develop and implement individual plans, signposting to additional support and training, and supporting referrals to relevant agencies.
Early Years settings can request advice and guidance to help them to meet the needs of any child who is causing concern.
